Experience Is Key

A Born Leader
One of Shayla’s first leadership roles was in her Girl Scout Troop (Troop 422) when she was a young girl. Her parents, Wendell and Bonnie Lynch, encouraged and helped to cultivate her leadership skills, in spite of being a shy young lady. From there, she went on to become a capable young leader in her church and became president of the youth chapter of the NAACP, all before reaching high school, and the rest is HERstory.
